Obituary

Jack A. LaSapio "Buster", 91, of West Orange, NJ passed away on November 4, 2010 in Green Hill Center, West Orange.
Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito Memorial, 252-256 Henry St., Orange on Wednesday, November 10th from 4 - 8 pm.. The funeral will begin in the funeral home on Thursday, November 11th at 9:30 am followed by the Funeral Mass in Mt. Carmel Church, Orange at 10:30 am. Interment Gate of Heaven Cemetery, East Hanover.

Mr. LaSapio was born in Orange, NJ and lived inWest Orange, NJ since 1952.
Jack was a member of the Heavy and General Construction Union, Local 472 of Newark, NJ and worked for Joseph Nesto and Co., Newark for 40 years. He served as Building Inspector for Newark and West Orange, NJ for 10 years.
Mr. LaSapio served in the US Army during WWII, was a member of the South Orange Elks and a long time volunteer for Seton Hall Prep and Seton Hall University.
Beloved husband of the late Julia (nee Supanick), Loving Father of Arlene O'Rourke and her husband, James of Morris Plains and John LaSapio and his wife, Judi of Missouri. Brother of the late Pasquale, James and Frank "Eddie" LaSapio. Proud grandfather of Deanna Beard and her husband, Barrett, James Anthony O'Rourke and Brent Schefter, also survived by 2 great grandchildren, Kaitlyn Rose and Austin James Beard.
