Paul Ippolito, III (1943-2013) NJ Lic. No. 2791

Paul Ippolito, III graduated from McAllister School of Embalming in New York City in 1962 and received his funeral practitioner's license in 1965. He continued to work with his father in the Orange establishment until his uncle, George, retired in 1973. In 1974 Paul, III moved to Berkeley Heights to manage the Summit and Berkeley Heights funeral homes.

He resided in Berkeley Heights, with his wife, JoAnn, since that time and was very active in organizations in Summit and Berkeley Heights. Paul was appointed as a member of the New Jersey State Board of Mortuary Science by Governor Thomas H. Kean from 1983-91. He was a member and past-president of the Essex & Union County Funeral Directors Association, member & past-president of the Summit Lions Club, and he was a member and past-president of the former Summit Chapter of Unico National, a non-profit service organization. He was also a longtime parishioner of the Church of the Little Flower in Berkeley Heights.

Andrea Ippolito serves as manager of both Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial and Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial. She earned her Bachelor of Science degree from Lynchburg College in Virginia. Andrea attended American Academy McAllister Institute and graduated Summa Cum Laude in 1993. She was inducted into Mu Sigma Alpha, which is the honor society of the National Association of Colleges of Mortuary Science. She also received the Dr. John McAllister Award, given by the school for outstanding scholarship, as well as the Silvio J. Failla award, which is presented by the New Jersey State Funeral Directors Association for educational excellence. Andrea served as a trustee of the New Jersey Funeral Service Education Corporation, as well as a member of the NJ State Funeral Directors Association and a member of the NJSFDA Legislative & Law Committee. Andrea enjoys cheering for her sons’ sports teams, the NY Giants and NY Yankees, traveling, and being outdoors. She resides in Berkeley Heights, NJ with her family.

Paul Ippolito, IV, serves as manager of Paul Ippolito-Dancy Memorial. Paul earned a Bachelor of Arts degree from Seton Hall University and graduated from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in 1992. He is a member and past-president of the Orange/West Orange chapter of Unico National, a non-profit service organization, as well as 20-year member and current board member of the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Society in Berkeley Heights. Paul resides in Berkeley Heights, NJ with his family.

Angela Ippolito, a graduate of the Art Institute of Philadelphia, attended and graduated Cum Laude from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in New York City, in 1992. In addition to graduating with honors, she was elected secretary of her class and also received the Thomas M. Quinn Award, given by the school for outstanding achievement. Angela is a certified Funeral Celebrant who assists families in creating a memorable service as well as involved in community outreach discussion panels dealing with difficult topics such as the opioid epidemic and its effects on our communities. She enjoys spending time with her family, working out, yoga, meditation and the beach. Angela resides in Berkeley Heights, NJ with her family.

Anthony Ippolito received a Bachelor of Arts degree in Criminology from Marist College in New York and continued on to graduate from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral service in 1996. Anthony is a member of Sons of Italy, Orange/West Orange, a member and past board member of the Caldwell/West Essex Kiwanis Club and a member of the Rotary/Kiwanis Caldwell Street Fair Committee Anthony resides in Summit, NJ with his family.

Michael Sztuk joined Paul Ippolito Memorials in 2013. He attended Fairleigh Dickinson University in Madison, N.J. was awarded the Student of the Year Award in 2008 from the New Jersey Cooperative Education & Internship Association for outstanding achievement in the field of Experiential Education. In 2009 he graduated Magna Cum Laude with Bachelor of Science degree in Hospitality and Tourism Management and was a member of the Eta Sigma Delta Honor Society. At an early age he expressed interest in funeral service and began working in funeral homes while in high school. In 2011 he graduated Cum Laude from American Academy McAllister Institute of Funeral Service in NYC. Michael lives in Morris Township, NJ and in his free time enjoys traveling and going to concerts.
