Mrs. Anne P. Anderson, 77, of Summit, NJ passed away in her home on Thursday, April 24, 2008.

She was born in Hamlet, NC and came to live in Summit, NJ in 1969.

She received a bachelor's degree in education and worked as a nursery school teacher at Central Presbyterian Church in Summit for over 20 years and as an adjunct professor of Astronomy at Middlesex County College in Edison for over 20 years.

Mrs. Anderson was a member of the Amateur Astronomers (AAI) in Cranford, NJ. Her hobbies included gardening and oil painting.

She is the wife of the late Troy H. Anderson, Jr. Loving mother of Susannah Torman of Springfield, Andy Anderson of Summit, and Denice Ganger of Berkeley Heights. Mother-in-law of Carl Ganger, Jr. and the late Kay Lipper Anderson. Dear grandmother of Neil Torman, and Katherine Ganger and Carl Ganger, III.

The Memorial Service will be held on Wednesday, April 30th, at 7:30 PM in Central Presbyterian Church in Summit. Arrangements by Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Ave., Summit, NJ. In lieu of flowers, please make donations in her memory to Our House, 76 Floral Ave., New Providence, NJ 07974or to the Summit First Aid Squad, PO Box 234, Summit, NJ 07902.
