Edwin D. Farrell of Berkeley Heights, NJ passed away at home with his family by his side on December 28, 2012 at the age of 79.
Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito Berkeley Memorial, 646 Springfield Ave., Berkeley Heights on Sunday, Dec. 30th from 2-6 PM. The funeral will be held on Monday, Dec. 31st beginning at 9 AM in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass in Little Flower Upper Church, Roosevelt Ave., Berkeley Heights at 10 AM. Mr. Farrell was born in Brooklyn, NY and has resided in Berkeley Heights for over 40 years.
He was employed as a VP at Continental Insurance Co. of New York and retired from the State of New York Insurance Liquidation Bureau in 2002.
He received a Bachelor's Degree in Economics from Mt. St. Mary's University in Maryland before serving in the Marines from 1956-1957.
Edwin is the beloved husband of Margaret (nee Muller); loving father of Brian Farrell and his wife Angela, Kelly Egan and her husband Paul, Lauren Gallagher and her husband Thomas, Kevin Farrell and John Farrell and his wife Lorraine; dear brother of Nancy McCaffree; cherished grandfather of Ryan, Brian, Erin, Patrick, Michael, Brian, Jack, Kevin, Maggie and Colleen.
