Dora "Dolores" M. Carolla (nee Fusco) of New Providence, NJ, formerly of Summit, passed away on November 19, 2012, at the age of 105.
Visiting will be held in Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial, 7 Summit Ave., Summit on Friday, Nov. 23rd from 6-9 PM. The funeral will be held on Saturday, Nov. 24th beginning at 8:30 AM in the funeral home followed by the Funeral Mass in St. Teresa of Avila Church, Summit at 9:30 AM.
Mrs. Carolla was born in Italy. She lived in Summit , NJ for 90 years before moving to New Providence, NJ in 1999.
She worked as a seamstress for M & D Coat factory in Summit, NJ. Dora was also active with the St. Lucy Society at St. Teresa of Avila Church for many years.
Dora was the beloved wife of the late Joseph, loving mother of the late Natalie York, dear sister of the late Joseph Fusco, James Fusco, Mary Guisti, Antoinette Cunean and Lena Bate. She is survived by her cherished grandchildren Susan York and her husband Frank Molle, Brian and Peggy York along with her great grandchildren Cathy, Ben, Samantha and Kevin.
In lieu of flowers donations may be made in her memory to the Center for Hope Hospice 1900 Raritan Rd, Scotch Plains, NJ 07076.
