Mae Noce (nee Cummings) of Summit, NJ , formerly of Gillette, NJ, passed away at home on Monday, January 28, 2013 at the age of 87.
The visitation will be held in Paul Ippolito Summit Memorial 7 Summit Ave., Summit, NJ on Friday, Feb. 1st from 4 to 8 PM. The funeral will begin in the funeral home on Sat. Feb. 2nd at 8:30 followed by the Funeral Mass celebrated in St. Teresa of Avila Church, Summit, NJ at 9:30AM. Interment will take place in Holy Cross Cemetery, N. Arlington, NJ.
Mae was born in Montclair, NJ to Peter and Nellie Cummings. She moved to Gillette, NJ in 1957 where she raised her family. She has lived the past 8 years in Summit, NJ.
Mae loved doing crossword puzzles and enjoyed going to the Jersey Shore and the Outer Banks. Her greatest joy of all was her family.
Mae is the beloved wife of the late Alfred "Fred" Noce, loving mother of Kathie Buscaino and her husband Frank Jr. of Cedar Knolls, Patrick and his wife Bonnie Noce of Bernardsville, Maryellen Demkovitz and her husband Don of Robbinsville and the late Theresa Rohner. Dear mother in law of Mark Rohner. She is the cherished grandmother of Kelly and her husband Christian, Freddie, Michelle, Shannon, Patrick, Justin, Chelsea, Danielle, Johnny , Theresa and great granddaughter Tessa Grace. Sister of Peter Cummings of Wall, NJ and the late Buddy Cummings, Eileen Costanza and Peggy Rimer. Sister in law of Florence and Eleanor Noce, Fran LaSala and Edith Restaino.
